Vivid Voices

A collaborative shoot where I was asked to style and edit a colour-focused series for photographer Phoebe Love. Working alongside models Alyssa Palmer and Shannel, communication was key in shaping the striking visuals Phoebe envisioned. Each look carried a sense of sophistication, whether through fur or structured tailoring, while contrasting colours, textures, and prints were used to push a more expressive, layered outcome. Colour became central to the narrative. I used vibrant hues deliberately, not just to catch the eye, but to reflect the strength and individuality of a woman’s voice. Bold colour has a presence; it doesn’t sit quietly, and neither should the woman wearing it. After generations of being told how to present themselves, this styling was built on the idea that women shouldn’t have to blend in. The intensity of the colours allowed each model to visually take up space, expressing character, confidence, and autonomy through what they wore. Reinforcing the idea that standing out is not something to be softened. A woman should be seen.
